Primarily a studio artist, she begins to work with a photo or a sketch as a starting point. Other times she uses music and one or two colours to begin, working intuitively until an image or a pattern suggests itself and then with successive glazings and layers she continues until a degree of satisfaction occurs and finally the work tells her it is finished.
